ClimateTab is an in-house software platform developed and provided by Three Pillars Consulting, designed to support organizations operating across the fuel marketing and downstream energy sector. For Shell Oman Marketing Company, the platform was applied to support marketing, distribution, and retail fuel operations, with configuration reflecting key operational characteristics such as fuel logistics, storage facilities, distribution activities, and retail service stations. This approach ensured sustainability and carbon data were structured in line with real organizational and operational boundaries, supporting relevance and methodological consistency.

Through a ClimateTab software subscription, Shell Oman Marketing Company utilized core platform modules including Corporate Accounting (Scope 1 and Scope 2 and 3), Electricity Factors, and Net-Zero Analysis, supported by organizational setup, user onboarding, and ongoing technical assistance from Three Pillars Consulting. The platform enabled structured and consistent tracking of emissions across fuel logistics and retail operations, while providing a scalable foundation for future sustainability reporting, decarbonization planning, and performance improvement initiatives.
