Product Carbon Footprint Assessment and Reporting
Three Pillars Consulting supported the client in quantifying and reporting the carbon footprint of key products or services in alignment with international standards and life-cycle assessment (LCA) principles. This included data collection, emissions factor application, and scenario analysis to identify reduction opportunities. The project provided a clear and actionable footprint report, enabling the client to improve sustainability performance, communicate environmental impact transparently, and guide low-carbon product strategy.
Three Pillars Consulting supported Oman Aluminium Rolling Company in assessing the carbon footprint of selected aluminium products in alignment with ISO 14067 and ISO 14040/44 standards. The assessment focused on a cradle-to-gate life-cycle boundary, tailored to the primary aluminium production sector and the client’s energy-intensive smelting and processing operations.
The work included process-level data collection, emissions factor application, and scenario analysis to evaluate emissions drivers related to electricity, fuels, and materials. The resulting footprint supported product-level transparency and performance benchmarking, while informing long-term decarbonization and low-carbon materials strategies.
