Product Carbon Footprint Assessment and Reporting

Three Pillars Consulting supported TotalEnergies in quantifying and reporting the carbon footprint of selected energy products and related offerings in alignment with ISO 14067, the GHG Protocol Product Standard, and LCA principles. The assessment boundary was defined based on product type and use case (such as cradle-to-gate or cradle-to-grave), with methodologies tailored to the integrated energy sector and the client’s production, processing, and distribution context. The engagement included structured data collection, emissions factor application, and scenario analysis to identify reduction opportunities across the value chain. The resulting footprint enabled transparent product-level reporting and customer communication, while providing a robust basis for lower-carbon product positioning and portfolio transition planning.
