Product Carbon Footprint Assessment and Reporting

Three Pillars Consulting supported the client in quantifying and reporting the carbon footprint of selected ammonia products in alignment with ISO 14067, the GHG Protocol Product Standard, and life-cycle assessment (LCA) principles. The assessment covered a cradle-to-gate life-cycle boundary, with methodologies tailored to the ammonia and low-carbon fuels sector and the client’s production context, including feedstock inputs, process emissions, utilities, and associated logistics.

The engagement included detailed data collection and validation, emissions factor application, and scenario analysis to identify emissions reduction opportunities across the ammonia product life cycle. The resulting footprint enabled transparent product-level reporting and internal performance benchmarking, while providing a robust basis for low-carbon ammonia positioning, customer disclosures, and future environmental product documentation.
