Three Pillars Consulting supported the client in developing a tailored policy or framework aligned with international best practices and local priorities. This included research and benchmarking, drafting technical guidance, and stakeholder engagement to ensure applicability and effectiveness. The outcome provided the client with a structured framework to guide implementation, enhance compliance, and strengthen sustainability leadership in their sector.

Three Pillars Consulting supported the development of a carbon removal policy and framework tailored to organizations operating across the carbon removal and climate technology sector. For 44.01, the framework was designed to address governance, methodological integrity, and transparency requirements associated with carbon removal activities, incorporating key focus areas such as measurement, monitoring, reporting, and verification (MMRV), data governance, and alignment with carbon credit principles. This ensured the framework was aligned with how carbon removal projects are developed, operated, and assessed in practice.

The engagement included research and benchmarking, alignment with relevant international standards and guidance (including emerging carbon removal methodologies, MRV best practices, and applicable climate reporting frameworks), and the development of clear, practical guidance to support implementation and ongoing use. The resulting framework provided structured governance and reporting readiness, while establishing a robust foundation for credible carbon crediting, stakeholder assurance, and continuous improvement as carbon removal activities scale.
