Guidance and documentation for I-REC issuance and verification
Three Pillars Consulting provided technical support for the client’s renewable energy portfolio under the I-REC framework. This included guidance on the issuance process, verification of generation data, and preparation of compliance documentation in line with international best practices. The project enabled the client to transparently report renewable energy consumption and enhance credibility with stakeholders through recognized certification.
Three Pillars Consulting supported ACWA Power in managing and strengthening its renewable energy claims through alignment with the I-REC Standard. The engagement was tailored to the power generation and renewable project context, providing technical guidance on the I-REC issuance process, verification of generation data, and alignment with international best practices for renewable energy certification.
The work included review and validation of generation data, support with issuance and verification requirements, and preparation of compliance documentation to meet I-REC standards. The outcome enabled transparent reporting of renewable electricity generation and credible Scope 2 claims, strengthening stakeholder confidence in renewable energy disclosures.
