Project Description

Three Pillars Consulting assisted the client in strengthening their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance through customized frameworks and reporting solutions. The engagement included identifying material ESG topics, aligning with international disclosure standards, and developing practical tools to integrate ESG considerations into corporate strategy. The project outcome enabled the client to enhance transparency, meet stakeholder expectations, and position themselves as a sustainability leader in their sector.

Three Pillars Consulting supported Omantel in conducting an ESG materiality assessment to identify and prioritize the ESG topics most relevant to the business and its stakeholders, informed by recognized reporting and disclosure frameworks such as GRI and IFRS/ISSB and relevant telecom-sector considerations. The engagement took into account Omantel’s distributed network infrastructure, service-based operations, and diverse stakeholder landscape, ensuring the outcomes were practical, decision-useful, and aligned with disclosure expectations.

The work included stakeholder and context review, definition of material ESG topics across environmental, social, and governance dimensions, and development of a structured set of ESG metrics and reporting inputs to support ongoing performance management. The resulting materiality outcomes strengthened reporting readiness and ESG transparency, while providing a robust foundation for regulatory disclosures, investor engagement, and integration of ESG priorities into long-term business planning.
