Project Description

Three Pillars Consulting worked with the client to design a decarbonization approach aligned with international frameworks and national climate goals. This included emissions assessment, identification of reduction pathways, and scenario modeling to support long-term net-zero alignment. The project delivered a clear roadmap with actionable measures, enabling the client to demonstrate climate leadership and strengthen resilience in a low-carbon future.

Decarbonization Roadmap

Three Pillars Consulting supported Ara Petroleum in developing a decarbonization approach aligned with international frameworks and national climate objectives, grounded in the upstream oil and gas operational context. The engagement considered emissions across production facilities, well operations, fuel use, and supporting utilities, reflecting operational constraints and future field development considerations.

The work included baseline emissions development, emissions forecasting, and target setting, together with identification of reduction pathways and scenario modeling across multiple time horizons. It also covered mitigation project modeling, including cost of abatement analysis, and benchmarking of targets and strategies against peers and competitors. The resulting roadmap provided structured mitigation pathways and key implementation recommendations, enabling informed decision-making and integration of decarbonization into long-term operational planning.
