Project Description

Three Pillars Consulting worked with the client to design a decarbonization approach aligned with international frameworks and national climate goals. This included emissions assessment, identification of reduction pathways, and scenario modeling to support long-term net-zero alignment. The project delivered a clear roadmap with actionable measures, enabling the client to demonstrate climate leadership and strengthen resilience in a low-carbon future.

Decarbonization Roadmap

Three Pillars Consulting supported Nama in developing a decarbonization approach aligned with international climate frameworks and national energy and water goals. The engagement reflected the utilities holding and system-planning context and considered emissions sources across power, water, and network operations.

The work included baseline emissions assessment, emissions forecasting, and target setting. It covered identification of sector-appropriate reduction pathways, scenario modeling, and mitigation project modeling, including cost of abatement analysis. Targets and strategies were benchmarked against peers and comparable utilities. The resulting roadmap provided coordinated mitigation pathways and key implementation recommendations, supporting group-wide planning and long-term alignment with national climate objectives.
